Letter to Parents: 15 November 2019
Learning Block 3
With another learning block completed we are now on the countdown to the festive season! Welcome to all the children and parents who have joined us in the last month.
Parent Contact Week
Thank you to all parents/carers that have met with us so far for your parent contact sessions, we hope that you have found it useful and informative. If you do not have an appointment booked yet then please ask the ladies at collection, drop off or pop into the Atrium and we will arrange one for you.
Primary School Applications
If your child was born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 they will be due to transfer to primary school in September 2020. Places are not issued automatically and an application must be submitted online to Milton Keynes Council at www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/schooladmissions
The application portal is live and it is imperative that you apply for your child in good time and before the strict deadline of 15 January 2020. We had some families last year who missed the deadline and were not allocated a place at TPA. The school currently has a waiting list of 24 children just for Reception so please complete your application ASAP. If you need any assistance with the process then please speak to Nicola in the Atrium.
Toys From Home
Some children have been bringing toys from home in to the Nursery. Due to health and safety we cannot allow toys that are not purchased by the Nursery in the setting. More importantly the children become upset when we have to take them off of them or when other children want to play with them. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
Parent ‘Stay And Learn’ Session
Thank you to everyone that attended our last session, we hope that you had fun with your children!
I am delighted to inform you that we will be holding festive ‘Stay and Learn’ sessions for parents on Tuesday 17 December 2019 and Wednesday 18 December 2019. We will have lots of fun crafts activities, games and songs. Please note that both days are open to parents / carers / grandparents or any other significant adult.
We hope that you can join us and look forward to seeing you there. If you are unable to make either day and would like to join us for a ‘Stay and Learn’ session on another day, please speak to Nicola in the Atrium to arrange a suitable time.
Should you wish to collect your child early, i.e. before the dismissal time of 3.20pm then please note that you MUST collect them by 2.50pm.
